Sorting Logic

Fight bosses that provide route value or teach core movement first, and delay high-pressure fights with low recovery windows.

Early Picks

  • False Knight: basic jump and downslash rhythm.
  • Hornet: confirms the dash unlock route.
  • Mantis Lords: better after more health and wall-jump comfort.

Common Boss Questions

How do I beat Hornet?

Hornet is mostly about patience. Stay at mid range, wait for the jump, dash, or thread attack to finish, then take one or two hits. Do not heal while she is still active unless you know the window is safe.

When should I fight Mantis Lords?

You do not need to defeat Mantis Lords immediately after finding Mantis Claw. If your nail damage and masks are low, go to City of Tears first, upgrade your nail, then return.

What should I prepare before Soul Master?

Make sure you are comfortable with dashing, pogoing, and using spells. Before entering Soul Sanctum, confirm your bench route and upgrade path so repeated attempts do not turn into long runbacks.

Why are Watcher Knights so hard?

Watcher Knights pressure the player with multiple bodies and limited space. They are usually better later, once you have more masks, stronger nail damage, and a stable charm setup.
